If the World Hates You

The Christian is an elect exile in this fallen world. That is what Peter is writing about and that is why this letter has so much to say about the suffering of the Christian in this present enemy territory. We are called by the Lord to be, as far as possible, at peace with the ungodly, but we are also called to refuse to walk in their ways and to be separate from them in their ungodliness.
