Founded in 1995, the D. James Kennedy Center for Christian Statesmanship, strategically located on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C., has been serving the more than 20,000 representatives, senators, staffers, and interns through evangelism, Bible study, and statesmanship training for more than two decades.
This special program traces the history of the Center for Christian Statesmanship from D. James Kennedy’s vision to send missionaries into the “modern Rome” of our own day. You’ll see how the vision took shape, became a permanent fixture on Capitol Hill, and is impacting lives—and the nation—for Christ.

Among those influenced by Dr. Kennedy, Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma shares how Dr. Kennedy’s broadcasts fitted him with the Christian worldview and how he now carries them with him in the United States Senate. And former Congressman John Hostettler shares his journey from a young man who was inspired by Dr. Kennedy to run for the House of Representatives, to serving six terms in Congress, and now leading the Center for Christian Statesmanship as its director. You will be encouraged and motivated to see the witness for Christ grown in Washington D.C. in this special program.
