Jesus' Effectual Call to Zacchaeus

The total spiritual inability of man requires an effectual call of grace. If it is effectual it must be limited and definite. This being so, the call must originate with God and all He calls come to Christ. The Lord's words to Zacchaeus were wonderfully powerful: "Zacchaeus make hast, and come down; for today I must abide at thy house".
