 • This is not a curse on people of dark skin (Lev. 18:1-6)

 • This is not a head-for-head curse on all Canaanites (Jos. 6:25; Matt. 15:21-28)

II. A Savior and a Message

A. Prophetic…not Personal

 • The Covenant Name

 • The Gathering of the Gentiles 

B. A People…not to a Person

 • This is not a head-for-head blessing on all the Semites

 • Blessing is to be found in God alone (cf. Ps. 144:15)
