Gideon - Victory from God

Who saves - God or man? When God saved Israel from the Midianites he did it in a way that showed the source of the victory. Human pride would rob God of his glory. It destroys relationships, and until we humble ourselves we will find it impossible to relate to him. That is true of salvation in Christ as well as individual acts of divine rescue.
