Because God has clearly revealed Himself in His Word and told us what we must do to come to Him, it is a tragic error to "re-imagine" Him in order to make our faith more "acceptable" to those around us. In this message we see how Jeroboam's sin of pragmatic compromise ultimately destroyed the Northern Kingdom of Israel.
