God's Promise To His Elect

The 54th chapter of Isaiah is God's promise to the elect gentiles who the prophet is telling that God's promise is an "everlasting" covenant of grace. He likens it to the covenant God made with Noah regarding not destroying the earth again by flood.

God's elect can be greatly encouraged to know that God has promised an everlating sustataining of His people because they have the imputed righteousness of Jesus Christ, because of His completed work on the cross for them.
