Philemon

Is there any greater illustration of forgiveness and substitution than in how the apostle Paul dealt with Philemon in regards to Onesimus, the runaway slave? We would do well to heed the instruction found in this small but powerful letter, in understanding how God for Christ's sake has forgiven His own.
