86) Down with Equality - James 2:1-4

We're studying James chapter 2 which begins with a paragraph about favoritism and discrimination. Both are forbidden because God doesn't deal with people that way.

But what's the solution? Yesterday we looked at some wrong solutions. Reverse discrimination, reparations, trying to make up for what past generations did, quotas, special treatment, affirmative action—none of that is the right response. You don't fix a past injustice by creating more injustice.
So how about this for a solution—equality. Just treat everyone the same! Is that the way to fix it? Nope. Equality's no good either.
