Get Your Mind Ready, 1 Peter 1:13-16 We start out with high resolve, keeping Christ first in our lives, but soon we are distracted, and our attention is diverted to things of lesser importance. One pursuit leads to another until we've strayed far from our original purpose of serving the Lord. When we undergo the trials of life, whether persecution and suffering or temptation and sin. We must act. We must dedicate our lives to God, and we must get our minds ready. We must concentrate upon some things. The Bible makes it clear. You control this part of your life. The harvest you reap will be the result of what you sow. If you want to thrive, then plant the seed of obedience.Think through what you do. Raise the bar a little higher and expect more from yourself. And act on it. Do it. Decide what steps you need to take.
