I restored that which I took not away

By nature because of Satan's deceit, and man's original sin in Adam, we are all by nature debtors to God and slaves to our sin, and thus we are unable in and of ourselves to be restored to God. However, Christ came into the world to restore that which He did not take away. Psalm 69:4. The Church is God's people whom He has loved from all eternity.
