Living On Purpose

Joni Mitchell sang that she "looked at life from both sides now" and that yet she really didn't know life at all. It is sad to say, but many people really don't know life at all. There is a meaninglessness of life when you live it on its own terms. Life is full of meaning only when you are living on purpose. The Christian has a God-given goal and life objective. Sometimes Christians say they would give more toward that goal if they had more to give. Really? The way to see what we would do with more is to see what we do with what we already have. Jesus said, "One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much" (Luke 16:10).
