The Discipleship Wheel

This message is based on the Navigator discipleship tool called The Wheel Illustration or The Discipleship Wheel. Rev. Mahon served on the staff of the Navigators for 25 years. During that time he saw hundreds of students, singles and career men mature in Christ into disciples and disciple makers as a result of this illustration. It is Rev. Mahon's conviction that the reason that so many ministries are floundering, producing lukewarm Christians, many of who do not continue in a life time of service is not because of the power of satan, nor due to the impotency of their salvation but rather due to the fact that they are not trained as disciples. Many ministries have returned to that unfocused fellowship based on a mentoring system that knows no clear goals. The Discipleship Wheel was developed by the Navigators to address just this problem and is just as effective today as it was when first developed.
