Redeeming Time

Do you find yourself frequently bored? Or, are you on the opposite of the spectrum - are you so busy that boredom sounds like bliss? These questions have to do with time, how we perceive it and particularly how we spend it. And in our text this morning, Paul gives us a striking statement regarding time and what we are to do with it: Christians are to redeem the time. Our focus will be that phrase and what revolves around it in our text. And as we examine it, we'll find that our Lord calls us to live in the time He has given us, not as aimless and bored, nor frenetic and frenzied, but as wise, understanding what the will of the Lord is, and doing it.
