Keeping the Covenant

When Moses had reached the age of 80, he learned that his great life's work was only about to begin. God revealed to him that he would be the liberator of the people of Israel, and that God was going to intervene to fulfill the promises made long before to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. God's revelation came in the form of His covenant name, Jehovah, and the emphasis of that name on God's self-existent, holy, and eternal character. God would always keep His covenant engagements.
