The World Moses Grew up in

In this chapter, the scene and the tone is set for the drama of redemption that will unfold in the rest of the Book. It also sets the scene for the Moses, the main character of the Book. We see the Pharaoh's evil attempts to extinguish the nation of Israel and how God overruled his wicked plans.
