With all boldness

Facing opposition and persecution, the people of God turn immediately, instinctively, corporately, to God himself. Their prayer is formed by Scripture in both its general approach and its specific content, and provides a wonderful example of both the priority and pattern of prayer in the life of the church of Christ. The God of heaven answers indeed, showing his presence, granting his Spirit, and giving the people of God boldness in making known the name of Christ.
