The Man Behind the Music — King Solomon

May your day, wherever you live in this small world, be filled with the unusual, unequal and undeniable favor and presence of God.

I couldn't help but be favor-minded today, after reading of [it] in our Nesting with Jesus. Remember this... God's favor will equip you far more than the best books and brightest brains... and ONLY He can give it and make you complete. And His favor is not limited to anyone or anyplace. Follow with me...

Notice this description of the man whose name means peace. "And God supernaturally GAVE Solomon wisdom and exceedingly great understanding, and largeness of heart like the sand on the seashore..." (1 Kings 4:29-34).

Favor... and its various degrees and depths is ever so beautiful.

Favor with God... a gift beyond anything this world or our flesh can match or replicate. And, as it applied to the degree of His favor upon Solomon, we can only say it was incalculable, like the sand along the oceans shores.

"...Thus, Solomon's wisdom excelled the combined wisdom of the brightest and best of all his contemporaries..." (1 Kings 4:29-34).

And, as his father penned...

"For who is God, except the Lord? Who is a rock, except our God? It is God who SUPPLIES me with strength and makes my way COMPLETE" (Psalm 18:31).

Yes! May we never miss this or shun His favor... for no one and nothing can supply what is needed or make the life of a believer COMPLETE — except our Rock and forever foundation. It cannot and will not happen for the servant of God any other way... Glory!!!
