A Model Ministry

With just several weeks to go before Pentecost, Paul takes a pit stop in Miletus on his way to Jerusalem. After calling for the elders from Ephesus, he took opportunity to admonish them to duty based upon his model of ministry. Two parts of Paul's ministry stand out as exemplary: his service to the Lord and his faithful preaching. The model of Paul's ministry is set forth for imitation as it represents a call to dutiful service and reverent hearing hearing of the word.
