The Prayer Jesus Refused To Answer

One of the thieves crucified with Jesus prayed, "save Yourself and us." To have answered this prayer would have required Jesus to come down from the cross, and this he could not do. Jesus had to stay on the cross because:
1-His Father demanded it.
2-Salvation demanded it.
3-His heart of love demanded it.
