The Peace of Christ

In Col. 3:1-17, Paul exhorts the church at Colossae with virtues and standards that reflect God's program of restoring creation to its pristine and perfect condition before Adam's transgression. Paul uses several terms which connect with Genesis 3. The harmonious relationship that reigned in creation before the fall will be restored in the last Adam, Jesus Christ. Thus, Paul exhorts, "Let the peace (shalom)of Christ rule in your hearts." Part one.
