I'm walking through the message of Nehemiah, an ordinary guy who walked into an extraordinary work and believe his life and love will be an encouragement to you.

Nehemiah — servant of God, Cupbearer of the King, turned wall builder who comforted his people.

The right people, in the right place, accepting the right position, with the right promises, to deal with the right problems — for the glory of God and the good of His people.

Nehemiah... is a great reminder that things are not always fun and games in kingdom life. Things are not always convenient, comfortable or easy when walking in the favor of God. But Nehemiah leaves a lasting picture upon my heart of how the unknown and bottled up potential of the called and our unique calling for God's work, begins with just being faithful with where we are and who we're serving now. He was a simple cupbearer, turned wall builder, who led a crusade of defeated brethren, into a revival of surrender and significance.


Nehemiah is a reminder that it's the little things. It's the little things that set the stage for monumental moments. Defining moments, as with Nehemiah, are MORE of the little victories, that are accomplished the right way, and the little failures, that are handled in the right kind of ways. Defining moments are not the big moment in the spotlight. It's the little things that have grown, shaped, refined and defined an individual to make the monumental decisions of significance. These big moments are rare... but no matter how rare they are, they were shaped, refined, readied and defined by the little things that led up to them.
