Believer: You're Dead to Sin (Part 3)

In Romans 6:11 Paul teaches us that we must first think right before we can put sin to death. The Bible does not endorse mindless Christianity; if you’re going to be holy, you’re going to have to use your head. What truth is it that Paul wants us to be gripped by? That we are dead to sin and that in our union with Christ our relationship to sin has been severed, so that it is no longer master over us and we can say “No!”
