CPAC, NASA, & The Green Dream

On the first segment of the program today, I will speak with Warren Cole Smith, Associate Publisher of WORLD Magizine. Warren attended the recent Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) events. He heard most of the presidential candidates speak. He will give us a report on where they stand on issues of importance to Christians. Also, there was a major spilt at CPAC this year over the participation of a gay Republican group called GOProud. Warren attended what was reported as a rousing speech delivered by Eric Mataxes (who wrote the best-selling Bonhoeffer biography) on why conservative need to stand up for Christian ideas and not just fiscally conservative ideas.

On the second segment of the program today, I will speak with Casey Luskin, an attorney at the Discovery Institute who is part of the legal team representing David Coppedge - a NASA scientist who was recently fired for his religious beliefs.

On the final segment I will speak with Kenneth Green - resident scholar with the American Enterprise Institute re: President Obama "Green Technology" push, specifically, his $2.3 billion in Recovery Act tax credits allocated for green manufacturers. Ken says that Europe's "Green Revolution" which has resulted in job loss, higher energy prices, and corruption - shows clearly that the Obama green dream will fail in the US as well.
