Two Looks at Repentance

This message was given by Pastor Jonathan Stobbs as he continued his evening ministry in the Book of 1 Samuel.
In this message, Pastor Stobbs looks at the two major issues around the theme of repentance in this chapter. Firstly, he looks at the difficult question, does God repent? Does God really change His mind? Or is His will ordained and unchangeable? Pastor Stobbs underlines the absolute sovereignty of God and provides some helpful guidelines.
Secondly, he deals with the question, is Saul's repentance genuine? Saul seems to repent with his lips, but his actions prove otherwise, and so Pastor Stobbs looks at what real repentance is, and the need for true repentance in our own lives.
