Pouting, Doubting and Praising

POUTING and PRAISING... two things that are extremely hard to do at the SAME time. Unless we're making it all about ourselves...then pouting and praising comes easy. Pouting is self praise, a demand, that is expressed with emotions of grief and full of discontentment, over the fact that we think we deserve better. I have to remind myself of this, from time to time... so, I encourage you also, choose one or the other. Now, if life is all about you, you're probably pretty good at combining the two. But if you want your life to count for something bigger than yourself, and the world we live in, turn that pouting into praise for the only One worthy of it. #pouting #praise #pouterspraisethemselves

"He hath made His wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion" (Psalm 111:4).

He is worthy of our praise...

What a delight it is to be part of something that does last forever! There is a sweet joy of being used to help others recognize and remember the wonderful works of our God.

Don't despise the day of small things... (Rejoice in that which God rejoices in (Zechariah 4:10)

We can pout over the past or praise in the present but we won't do both at the same time. And right now is the only time we have to bless the Lord.

Do what you can…
Do what you can with what you have…
Do what you can with what you have for the glory of God and the good of man…
