The Life of Elisha (Part 5)

Faith begins with a word from God from the Word of God. At that time Elisha was the only one God would speak through. Today we have the Word of God and the indwelling Spirit of God to discern what He wants to do. Remember, though, that sin in our lives will choke the Spirit of God. In this text we can see how Elisha identified with the death of the boy just as Jesus identified with our death to bring us spiritual resurrection, from death to life.
