Faith is a primary theme in John's gospel and he, more than his three counterparts, highlighted the pseudo-faith - the believing unbelief - that characterized so many in Israel as they considered Jesus of Nazareth. This excursus examines the issues of faith and unbelief, how they are confused and how they must be understood biblically.
