Listen to God

1. Pharaoh Battles Against God & His Word – 5:1-18

This passage Pharaoh has clearly set himself against God. (Thus says the LORD – v1 vs Thus says Pharaoh – v10).

Look at three things Pharaoh does:

Pharaoh…
a) Rejects God's Word (does the opposite)
b) Discredits God's Word (tempt the people to doubt)
c) Pressures Israelites to Abandon God's Word (persecution)
2) Stand Firm by Running to God in His Word – 6:1-8
(God's character and His promises)
3) God will win! His Word is proven true! – 7:3-7
