Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
Receive Jesus Christ into your heart
Confess Him as your Personal Savior
These are all good answers to the question but all short hand. The more complete answer/definitive answer is provided here by our Lord. “Anyone who would attach themselves to me must: Deny himself, take up his cross and follow me.”
