Authenticity

The fourth of our stated values calls for us to live authentic Christian lives. To do this we must first recognize what an enormous privilege it is to bear the name Christian; for a Christian is someone who knows Jesus and knows that he does not deserve to know Jesus. Humility and gratitude come from this recognition and from humility and gratitude flow the rest of what our value statement envisions as authentic Christianity: sincerity, faithfulness, integrity, maturity, and loyalty.
