The Gospel = You're nothing, Christ is Everything!

The account of Jesus' prediction of the disicples forsaking of Him, w/ an emphasis on Peter's 3-fold denial of his Savior.

For those of us who are guilty of the same sin, this sermon is a great encouragment, as it focuses - as does the text - on the massive contrast between Christ's sovereign faithfulness despite our carnal faithlessness.

The essence of the sermon & the Gospel: though you Suck, Jesus is Sovereign. So why do we, like the disciples, put so much stock in our own 'abilities'?
