Our Church Covenant

A Church Covenant is a solemn and binding agreement in which we freely promise to conduct our lives in a way that glorifies God and promotes the good of His church.

Why do we need a church covenant?

BIBLICAL REASONS:

#1 – God is a Covenant-making/keeping God – God's method of relating to His people has always been on the basis of covenant.

#2 – The Scriptures demand our wholehearted commitment – to our God and Savior—and to one another as God's people – Mt 28:18-20… Romans 12:1-16… Hebrews 10:14-25.

#3 – Those of us who are believers… are God's New Covenant People – His elect… His church… His own special people – Exodus 19:5-6; 1 Peter 2:7-16…
