Defending the Sabbath

While Nehemiah was away, people began doing business on the Sabbath day. We have Nehemiah's convicting response to the question of 1) whether Christians should work in the Sabbath day and 2) whether Christians can patronize the pagans around them who work on the Sabbath. The answer to both is a resounding "no".
