Is Your Life an Hallelujah?
Series Psalms
76
Sometimes people use the word "Hallelujah!" as punctuation or in a light manner. This is what is truly meant by taking the LORD's name in vain. If we are to say, "Praise the LORD!" or "Hallelujah!" we had better do so while walking in the Spirit with a heart filled with genuine love, gratefulness, and worship. Why? Simply put: God deserves nothing less. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD! Those who have breath have the breath of life. The text is referring to people. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. The more skillful we become in genuinely attributing praise to the LORD, the happier we shall be.
