No Other Gospel

It is an astounding thing to turn away after being taught salvation is free in Jesus Christ. Yet is estimated that as little as one year had passed between Paul's planting the churches in Galatia and writing this letter to them!

Why would anyone ever turn away from the good news that in Christ is full and free and full-proof forgiveness and joy and hope? Do the implications of turning away from gospel astonish you, or barely affect you? Do you marvel in the gospel to extent you marvel that any would forsake it?

If you are tempted to twist, substitute, or add to the Christian message, remember this: you can't come up with a better Gospel than God has; and it is deadly serious to try.
