The Continuing City

What is Heaven like? Most people don't think biblically about this question. Some dismiss physical elements clearly present when we reach our eternal destination, the New Jerusalem. The old heavens and the old earth give way to new heavens and a new earth. Time and spatial elements remain. We will have glorified, physical bodies. We will have relationships. We will serve. We will work and we will worship. Heaven is not something we dread; it is something we anticipate. Revelation 21 and 22 pique interest in the Christian's eternal destination. We have eternal life. We are heading to our eternal home.
