Grace Alone!

In Theses 15-18, Luther takes apart the idea that man has free will so that he can please God - even in the least degree. All our works are sin and death, we must be saved by grace alone. so we are not to despair of salvation, but despair of our own works and rest on Christ's finished work alone.
