Jesus Called His Disciples to 'Dine' with Him

After the resurrection, Jesus showed His disciples many signs that typified the Gospel. While they were fishing, in His sovereignty, Jesus caused them to catch a multitude of fish. Just as they brought in the fish, God brings His elect people to Himself at the declaration of the Gospel. Jesus provided them a meal, representing the Gospel, prepared just for them, giving them everything they needed. They were irresistably drawn just as the spiritual call works according to God's perfect, sovereign, and gracious will.
