Gifts of Miracles and Healing:

  • These gifts are the ability to heal certain diseases and to perform different types of miracles
      · All healings are miracles but not all miracles are healings.
  • The purpose of these gifts was, by in large, to authenticate the preaching and teaching ministries of Jesus and the apostles. (Heb. 2:3–4)
      · Jesus’ Ministry (John 20:30-31 | Matt. 9:35 | Acts 2:22 | Is. 35:5-6 [fulfilled -> Matt. 11:1-6 | Luke 7:19-30] |
      · The Apostle’s Ministry (2 Cor. 12:12 | Acts 14:3)

      · There are three healings where there was a time delay but the delay only involved minutes and no longer. Also the men involved received total healing (Mark 8:22-26 | Luke 17:11-19 | John 9:1-7)
      · The healings were undeniable (Mark 1:45; 2:12; 3:5-6; 5:20 | Acts 2:43; 4:15-17; 9:42)
