Enoch's Prophecy

The book of Genesis says Enoch was a godly man (Gen. 5:21-24; cf. Heb. 11:5, 6). Enoch a prophet, named his son Methuselah, a prophetic name which means, “When he dies, it shall come” (Gen. 5:21). It was a strong warning to the antediluvian world that God's judgment was coming. And as soon as Methuselah died, the flood came. The book of Jude tells us Enoch is designated as “the seventh from Adam” (Jude 14). Enoch “prophesied of these,”. 1. THE LORD IS COMING TO FULFILL PROPHECY. 2. THE LORD IS COMING TO EXECUTE JUDGMENT. 3. THE LORD IS COMING TO CONVICT ALL THAT ARE UNGODLY.
God is longsuffering and God is merciful, but His longsuffering and mercy have a limit. 2Peter 3:9, “The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” But let us not forget the very next verse, “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night…” (2Peter 3:10).
Repent your folly and join the saints.
