Making Use of Habakkuk's Prayer

That we might not be the ghastly crew of a dead church, we must make Habakkuk's prayer (3:2) ours: 'O Lord, revive Thy work in the midst of the years.' With this message the concern is the Christian making use of the prayer. First, making use of the prayer, individually and corporately, involves recognizing the standard for true revival. Much that is called revival is man made, carnal and superficial. That which defines revival is the Word of God. The Word reveals much about revival in terms of its effects - worship, joy and obedience.
