Testing times

In the parable of the ten servants and their ten minas, Christ draws on recent history to remind his disciples that while the kingdom of grace is coming, the kingdom of glory is not yet. Here we trace the experience of the nobleman who goes away to receive a kingdom and returns to reward his faithful servants and to deal with the wickedness and rebellion of others.
