Faith Demands Relationship

Life is hard. Many people have a problem with God. They are His enemies. Yet God is the only One who can solve the world's greatest problems. But more than that, God is going to inaugurate a new kingdom. And this is news that demands a response. Jesus' audience heard this warning but ignored it. They didn't respond in faith. This leads us to the critical question, "What is faith?" God defines it. Faith demands a relationship with Jesus more than caring what other people think. It convinces people of Jesus' identity. It speaks in spite of fear. Saving faith drives people to live godly lives. Jesus matters more to the person of faith than anything else in this world.
