What God Has Cleansed, Do Not Call Common

We know that the meeting between Peter and Cornelius will mark one of the most important changes in the history of the world, but we also know that the cultural chasm between Peter and Cornelius cannot be bridged easily. Last week we saw how a vision primed Cornelius, a powerful, important man of status, to invite Peter to his home. This week we will explore the vision that prepares Peter to break from millennia of Hebrew tradition. Peter's vision should help us to interpret and understand some of the most fundamental purposes of the ceremonial law and how the coming of Christ and the Holy Spirit changes...everything.
