Birthright for Stew? Is that what you think happened with Jacob and Esau?

312

During the pregame show, pastor talks about the things happening in Russia. With Russia wanting to control at least part of the Ukraine, this is exactly what Ezekiel 38 predicts.

Okay... on to Romans! We're at Romans 9:12-14 and verses 21-24. Why is God quoting Malachi 1:3? God is the Potter and we are the clay.

These passages are where Paul specifically says God is not evil. God is not responsible for sin nor is He the agent for sin. So who is? And why?

Chronister's law #24 says, people love being wrong. They are benefiting from being wrong and will keep being wrong until there is nothing to gain financially for doing so.

Now we start the sermon. Genesis 25:29-34. We're going to get into the very difficult topics of Jacob and Esau. Esau is legendary in Scripture of being a formidable foe. And he asks Jacob for stew and Jacob has the guts to tell this guy that he wants his birthright in exchange for stew. Is this a good plan? Better question, Is this what actually happens? And what caused this to happen? What's really up here doc? I'm going to stop here with this description, because pastor is the one you'll want to hear on this, not me.

Pastor makes a list here. What’s the list? I’m not tellin’.

Okay... here's another tidbit. Esau is described in Scripture as a cunning hunter. Who is the only other person given this description in the Bible? Do you know? I'm not tellin'.

I get the feeling I'm making people angry, so I'll really stop here before I incur any more wrath from our loving Internet audience.

Thanks so much for listening. And for those of you who are supporting this ministry, we appreciate you and your care for us.
