The Ministry of our Lord

The ministry of Christ to our world was distinct and definite; the ministry of the gospel should also be clear and transparent. Many professors of religion ignore the doctrine of the atonement presented in the New Testament. They speak not of Christ dying or of Christ's burial or of Christ raised back to heaven but the gospel bell has only one tone - there is no remission there without shed blood, no salvation apart from the offering of Christ. This message never wearies the believer's heart; it never fails to be the power of God unto salvation for everyone of the elect.
