God's Infinite Knowledge of Sin

The ancient people of God were annoyingly emotionless; God was well pleased to send them prophets to call them to repentance but they still paid more attention to the gods of the heathen then they did to the one true and living God. Their souls sought after their dead deities of human invention. Nothing can exceed the obstinate stupidity of an unregenerate heart. God speaks to us un the silent shadows of the darkness and He fills our heart with His presence. Sanctification needs to be in us a perpetual work, a daily work which must be done by the Holy Spirit.
