Closing Doxology

At the end of the Lord's Prayer we have the doxology, which is a description of praise to the One True God. The foundation of our prayer must always be that we are children of God and call on Him to give Him honor and glory and to bring our petitions before Him in confidence. At the closing of the Lord's Prayer we end up where we began, but now as a confession rather than a petition, still speaking of God's power. We learn a tremendous amount from the Lord's Prayer and how best we are to structure our prayers.
