Our Prayer Regarding Temptation

This petition (Lead us not into temptation) is closely related to the previous (forgive our sins). Before Heaven, perfection escapes us. We need the assurance that our sins are forgiven. Similarly, we have this petition to help us 'minimize' our sinfulness. We ask for guidance to keep us from opportunities that lead to sin. Why is this important and why must we pray it? We consider this in more fully in this sermon.
